Trading can be a lonely business. Particularly if you dint live in a large metropolitan area with user groups, trade shows, trading company's and the like. Sitting in your lonely trading room all day with no like minded people to talk to, bounce ideas off of, share skill sets with and critique each others trading styles can get old after a while. On line forums do a good job but are limited. I'm thinking that I'm not the only one that shares these thoughts so I thought it may be a good idea if there were a thread here at BM's where if you were one of these above described people you could leave a post here sharing your general location, and any other members that may be in your area could drop you a line and bang, you just created a local area users group where once there was none.

Ill start off. My names Derek, I live in the Beaumont Texas area. I'm a Forex trader using NinjaTrader. I'm a programmer running my own automated strategy's. Ive googled the area and can find no local trading groups. I'm interested in contacting like minded individuals in the region and getting together to share ideas and experiences.
