There were 31,000 new houses sold in the entire freaking country in August. There are 115 million households in the country. Of these new home sales, a full 3,000 happened in the entire Northeastern region of the country. This was the third lowest number of new homes sold in August in history.

This is what we get from the lowest mortgage rates in history, government backing of every loan, and a conspiracy between the Wall Street banks and the Federal Government to keep foreclosures off the market? Imagine how great the results will be when the current recession is acknowledged by the public in the next few months.
