It's an election year and the ES usually goes up, right?
...but with European debt crisis and bad news coming out of China, it has to go down ???

Also the main thing to consider is that ES is no higher than it was 15 months ago.

IF YOU KNOW WHAT Europe , Taxes and Fed (qe3 ?) will do, next year will probably be easy to figure out..
Too many unknowns for my crystal ball right now..

Could be bit simpler than that
-- ES will rally against $ devaluation -- I'm for $1,500 next year.

Btw, anyone has a seasonal fluctuation in ES chart for the past 10-20 yrs, similar to the one I've included for gold?
thanks

Hi,
Is there any difference for you what the price will be? As for me, I don't care.

Predicting the future of futures is doomed to failure.

If Harry Dent is correct about the impact of demographics on our economy than I say S&P will be down next year.
