I came across Ting mobile wireless service provider recently and thought I would pass it along. I really don't use a phone much and hope Sprint coverage in my area is reasonable enough.

Key Features:
  • You will soon be able to bring your own device with exceptions for iPhone and maybe a few others.
  • Good rates.
  • No contracts.
  • You only pay for what you use with no overage penalties.
  • Multiple devices.
  • No tethering restrictions or fees.
  • 4G available in some areas.

They are a "Tucows" company. I can't stand AT&T and Verizons greed and arrogance so Sprint is my best alternative.

I guess I'll go ahead and ask...

If anyone wants to give away a Sprint Android phone (CDMA 1900) for the cost of USPS shipping I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Thanks!
