However, I've been the whole route.
I've been trading since 1995 at times using up to 6 screens etc.
Now I trade on a laptop.
(fastest processor & solid-state drives)
I only watch One CL chart and 4 ES charts (4 different time frames)
I have found that less is more for me.
I like your DOM is because it gives more information in not much more space.
My desk is a quite place to sit.
(Sometimes by the pool.)
The quiet office may be a bench in the park.
A decent size monitor is a laptop screen (1920 X 1080).
Perfect for me.
Thanks again the new file makes it very easy to customize the indicator.

Okay 1Lot - it has been running on NQ, CL and TF since yesterday - and no sign of any exceptions in the trace file, and absolutely no problem with the performance.
Whatever you did with the code - you did well...
Ok, so I'm going to repost this so as to consolidate.
Attached is the .cs file for V1.8 of the order book, this is the latest version of the code as off 19/10/2012 - it now covers all outstanding reported bugs, phantoms and stability issues for all feeds as well as some tweaks that allow DOM size and appearance customisation for different monitor sizes/resolutions etc.
I have built and released a binary on my own blog for 1.8 for those that follow this thread but are not able to build source code etc.
Fantastic piece of work. Thank you very much. I have been trading for years and always wanted to learn to read the tape, but T & S just went over my head, I could make more sense out of Level 2 on the NT Dom, this takes it to a whole new level, excellent. (Not too fawning I hope).
We have settings for most of the likely number formats, except, 4 digit currencies. I can not code but if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to include 4 digit decimals, I can edit and compile.
I have tried all the settings available in the Indi parameters.
I will add the 4 decimal option for you, give me until tomorrow and I'll post a new source file up with an amendment to include it - Saturday night here and just about to run out.
