Try this:

Add the Daily OHLC study, set the Reference Days back to 0, set Graph High and Low Historically to Yes, and put this on the Alerts tab:

=OR(C>SG2[-1],C<SG3[-1])

You can check Hide Study, if you don't want to see the lines.

You also have a pre-configured study in SC website (scroll down to the bottom of the page, number 15 - New High New Low Alert.StdyCollct.):

Sierra Chart - Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning

I am using it and it works.

i have the same problem:

i want to have an alert for max chum from better volume indicator (it is on custom studies folder on sierra chart).
and i want to combinate is with scanning (for more products). but maybe you have better ideas for it.
