don't mean to 'muddy the water' but how do you display the dom with volume profile in SC? That's very cool.

thanks,

@josh,

Yes those settings work fine for me - and is what I am using to display one session at a time. I have to manually change the session though. What I desire is to have it automatically plot the current session only, but switch RTH+Overnight as needed.

Are you saying that yours is plotting profile for current session during RTH, and then plotting profile for overnight after RTH? That is my goal, right now it requires manual changes at session change over points.

Mike

Ok I'm sorry, I misunderstood. This is the behavior now:

During RTH (9:30am - 4:15pm):
Evenings on: full profile from last 4:30pm until present
Evenings off: 9:30 to present

During non-RTH (evening hours):
Evenings on: current non-RTH profile to present
Evenings off: prior RTH-only session (I think)

I think the answer is, yes, it requires a manual switch. Something may have changed recently in SC because I used to not have to do this, but I also had some annoying profile behavior that is now fixed on the switch over so I can't complain. It's a mouse click for me so not at all inconvenient, and also cool to be able to see where overnight is trading in relation to yesterday's RTH profile by switching, if that's what one might want to see.

I managed to produce two different VbP in one DOM. But it does not look nice nor useful.

The session times are adjusted to my time zone. It's RTH plus the rest as evening session.
