I am writing this post to review the service.

For the first couple of months I was pleased with the service. It is only about $30 or so per month, and the commentary is usually brief and to the point, and gets me the info I need and doesn't include too much nonsense.

Then on two separate occasions I was pushed into a 5-minute delayed feed, presumably because of billing issues. The problem was totally on their end, as the problem was resolved the next day without my intervention. The issue I have is outlined below, but basically I was out of commission for the entire day twice in a 20 day period. Unacceptable.

What put me AT the tipping point was that when I emailed support, it took from one day once, to three days (weekend included) the second time to receive a response. After mentioning to them that I was disappointed it took so long for a reply, I received this courteous but unhelpful response:

I appreciate the points you raise but I hope you can understand there is only so much customer support we can provide for a service that costs just £20 per month. We shall do our best to limit problems in the future and we apprecaite you as a user.

Nice, but ultimately translated on my end as: "too bad, we will try to do better." Okay, but not really customer service. I am happy with the price, but in this case you get what you pay for.

Today was the final straw. Several times while on the live stream, the stream switched over to the test audio stream. I manually switched it to test, and back to live, and it was fine for a few minutes, but after 4 or so times doing this, I cancelled my subscription. I hate to, because the price is right and the service itself is good and fast, but I just can't deal with these distractions. Ultimately, I'd say give this service a try if you are willing to see if your experience will be better; when it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it's frustrating.

I am currently in the market for a new service -- I care about the usual economic data reports for the US mainly, and if they were to give earnings for key stocks like aapl, goog, it would be a nice plus. Also, anything ECB-related is a must, or any news that's in any way linked to euro stability, US monetary/fiscal policy (Bernanke speaking, Obama speaking, key votes in the house/senate), this is a must as well.
