We really need to know what version you are looking for. You should email Jing support and ask them. I'm sure you aren't the only one, if you are trying to do it in Linux or something and that is why you can't run .net 3.0.

@TraderJesse
faststone i run currently -- its really good - small+fast - but i would have the server-upload+account option that jing offers - thats the main reason.
i maybe gonna test faststone 6.5 + check know if the offer also an account.

@ mike - i am not a fan of always updating stuff on my shure running + stabil trading-PC - thats why i dont run net 3.0.

good idea to ask them directly ... will check this out - but mostly the answer for such things is : please use our new version blablabla .... -- we will see...

update - her is the answer from techsmith - jing-prudcer :

Hi max,. Unfortunately there are not previous releases of Jing available. This is how Jing is designed. I do apologize for this inconvenience.

hi again - i found a perfect workaround for my needs now :

Share screenshots via the internet in seconds: take a screensnap, edit screenshot quickly and send to the internet

nice small as faststone+jing

>> free

>> needs NO NET 3.0

Try Screenr, it might fill your needs. It has excellent video quality, works from browser, direct upload to Screenr, and manage via Twitter account. Possible drawbacks, 5 minutes maximum length, only records off screen 1 in multi monitor setups. Details https://screenr.com:443/ Video of a trader using TOS, in German.
