Hello,

I get an error when I attempted to import this Indicator:

ZigZagUTC_TL_BarCount_Fibs.zip

I did do a compile to find the culprit and remove it, but when i try to remove the culprits on the left...I get a message that I can't because they are system files!

Thank you for any help.

Joseph

Hi @Joseph689,

to get rid of that error you should go to tools, select 'Edt Ninja Script', choose any indicator and click OK.

After that an editor with the code of the indicator opens, then just right click in that window and select Compile.

Scroll to the bottom of the window, there you will see the error(s) which have to be fixed before you can import another indicator.

If you cannot fix the errord, just delete these indicators from your indicator directory and import them again.

Hope that helps...

I did that, but I can't delete the indicators on the left, says system files.

Yes, it seems that they are 'native' NT indicators, so you can't delete them.

...And it looks like that these indicators exist as doublets in two different directories. Have you copied them ?

Did you already send these screenshots to Ninja Trader Support ? They will give you quick help, even on Sundays...

I deleted G_scalper but now I just get the following error. Where is NT getting the reference to this DLL?

Thanks.

Sometimes those references are linked to chart templates and / or workspaces...

I had a similar problem in the past and I needed to delete all chart templates and associated workspaces to get rid of the problem.

But maybe it's the best solution to contact NT Support first before you crash your NT installation by deleting DLLs or other files.
