Hello,
Anyone see a basic two colored (50,88,9) MACD-Histogram, with an option to add a 2 period (1 and 5) SMA?
I saw a few here, but are a bit confusing; all I need is a simple one that does the above.
Thanks.
Joseph

@Joseph689 : You can easily apply a SMA to the MACD histogram, by selecting the histogram plot of the MACD as input series.
Below is an example, where I have applied a 1-period and a 5-period SMA to the histogram, which is plotted by the anaMACDUniversal indicator.

Fat Tails: I can't find anaMACDUniversal indicator anywhere. Can you please provide a link to it?
Thank you again.

@Joseph 698:
This is my fault, I have not found the time to put the indicator into the download section.
You can find it here:

Fat Tails:
Sorry to bother you again, but I just can't figure out how to get the chart to plot exactly as the one you posted does. The way you have it is exactly the way I want it, (Hist. 50,88,9) with a SMA 1 and 5 applied to it.
Thank you again.
Joseph
Note: The only difference I noticed in indicators was, the one you posted was anaMACDUniversal, and the one I downloaded is anaMACDUniversalX2.

@Joseph689 @Fat Tails
1) Choose SMA from indicator list.
2) Set period to (5).
3) Click on input series.
4) Click on box to right with the 3 dots.
5) Scroll down to anaMACDUniversalX2 and click on it.
6) Scroll to lower panel.
7) Set Ma1 type and Ma2 type to EMA.
8) Set Ma1 period to 50, Ma2 period to 88 and Smooth to 9. Scroll further down and set plot to Histogram and click ok.
9) Back to original indicator window, make sure under "visual" you set it to panel 2 (or whichever panel number the MACD is in on your chart.
10) Now do the same steps for SMA period 1.
That should do it for you,
Rick
