Hello, I have been searching for hours to find a CCI indicator that will color the bar chart according to what the CCI value is. I have found many good CCI indicators which are phenomenal. However, I still need this basic indicator.
What I want is for the bars in the chart to be colored based on the CCI. For example if the CCI is above zero but less than 100, plot chart a given color, if greater than 100 but less than 200 another color, as well as another color btwn zero and -100, and then again btwn -100 and -200. I would like to be able to change the levels or numbers at which the colors change as well as choose what colors. Need it for Ninjatrader 7. Is this indicator already been created? If so, I cant find it. Can anyone help? Perhaps one of you great coders can create that one. I would very much appreciate it.

This isn't exactly what you are looking for, but it has all the elements for someone to modify to suit. You are asking for more parameterization than either has for instance.

I thought it was posted to downloads... but I couldn't find it either (the download search function baffles me).

I attached 2; I currently use CCIColorssg.cs; I can't remember for sure, but I think I adapted it from the CCIMultipleColors.cs

Want your NinjaTrader indicator created, free? PlatinumTrader, maybe this version will help. :) keep in mind with your example, if cci is above 200 or below -200, it will plot the default bar colors from the data series.
