Special Note : You can get free access to the Reuters IFR (where I get the Orders Board data for Barriers) by setting up a Free Oanda DEMO (fxtrade Practice) accout.
BDZ - Barrier Defense Zone, a 30 tick thick area above and below a Barrier Option level. It is an area that the Option buyers will be defending.
Barrier Option - I hesitate to give this term the obvious acronym
Barrier Event - This is what happens when price crosses the Barrier Price. On a No-Touch option it is the Barrier Event that renders the Option worthless.
Barrier Price - the strike Price of the Barrier Option that the Buyer is holding.
Price Silo - the area that Price will be operating in before the 10:00 AM NY Cut.
SFP - Swing Failure Pattern...similar to a Wyckoff Spring. Formed at a swing low or swing high, price then moves away from the level some distance...usually in an arc...the comes back to test the level. If it crosses the SFP level and the closes back on the side that it was coming from (effectively rejecting the level) you have a Swing Failure Pattern. You can have several of these together at support and resistance in a Ranging Market.
