When replying to a post - I get the following error message from the board:
To be able to post links or images your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 3 posts.

Please remove links from your message, then you will be able to submit your post.

This limitation is here for a reason. If you make junk posts to circumvent this limit, you will be permanently banned without exception.



Does replying to a post 'not' count as a post on my own part?

It means you have to have 5 posts to be able to embed links in your post content.

It's a spam prevention measure. I see that you just signed up for Elite after you posted this message. Elite members don't have the restriction since spambots aren't going to sign up for elite before they post.
