Martin Rimes has been trading for over 20 years, 10 of which as a full-time professional. He has previously taught courses on CCI (Commodity Channel Index indicator) trading and also acts as private trading coach. He is also known for his industry newsletters and daily videos which he provides to his subscribers.
Trading with the CCI looks interesting. (as well as the topic of momentum in trading) I once had a membership in a site where a staff instructor used CCI but I could never seem to get to trading with it well as his rules for using it were fuzzy. And then have heard rumors where some know how to trade well with it.
Then there is Woodies CCI method with the famous "club manual". I wasn't comfortable with it either.
What is "club manual", WCCI manual? CCI actually can work if used with the usual PA and trend rules like any other mom indicator. Martin used to be a regular in Woodies CCI Room and followed WCCI (I believe still is) with a focus on trading stocks and options off 60 min charts. Very nice guy.
I spoke to Martin. He has not been associated with Woodie for 5+ years. You can ask him privately why he left, I am satisfied with his answer and see no problem.
