I signed up for a free demo of Multi-Charts from my broker. I received an email with a log on ID and password, and nothing more. What exactly am I supposed to do with this log on ID and password? Do I need to download the Multi Charts platform, and then use this log on information to sign on to the platform? I think some instructions from my broker (AMP) might have been helpful. I am currently examining the download page on the Multi Charts web site. Of course there is yet another unexplained situation. I am asked to choose between 32 bit or 64 bit? There isn't any helpful tips available for choosing between the two, and as such I do not know which one to pick? Any help, please? Today being Sunday, nobody is open for assistance.

hi
if you have a dual core or quad core processor, then download 64 bit.
or 32 bit will run on any processor.

the login will be entered for cqg connection under broker profile.
before creating a chart, the same login will be entered in the cqg connection in quote manager also. they must match for data feed. open new quote manager from file menu.

then you will add the symbols in quote manager in order to access the data and create a chart.

the main multichart platform and quote manager must be synced , so you will be entering login info twice.

Amp has the free version of multicharts called discretionary trader. And there is also the free .net version from MC which allows 2 symbols at a time.

best wishes
shane
