Hello Everyone

I have been looking for code for and EMA to change color with the slope, does anyone know where I can find this at. I had it for Trade station and had problems with my trade station platform and now I can't find it. It would be in Easy language format. I had to re-install trade station and I guess that is where it got lost.

Thanks in Advance for the help !!!
Carl

Carl7816,

I created the code below on the fly and this could serve as a start for you.

Regards,
ABCTG

Code
inputs:
	Price( Close ),
	Length( 9 ),
	Displace( 0 ),
	UpColor( green ),
	DnColor( red );

variables:
	var0( 0 ) ;

var0 = XAverage( Price, Length ) ;

condition1 = Displace >= 0 or CurrentBar > AbsValue( Displace ) ;
if condition1 then
	begin

	if var0 > var0[1] then
		Plot1[Displace]( var0, "AvgExp", UpColor )
	else
		Plot1[Displace]( var0, "AvgExp", DnColor );

	if Displace <= 0 then
		begin
		condition1 = Price > var0 and var0 > var0[1] and var0[1] <= var0[2] ;
		if condition1 then
			Alert( "Indicator turning up" )
		else
		begin
		condition1 = Price < var0 and var0 < var0[1] and var0[1] >= var0[2] ;
		if condition1 then
			Alert( "Indicator turning down" ) ;
		end ;
		end;
	end ;
