I want to display a ninjatrader indicator in a window without the corresponding price panel. I know that I can scrunch up the price panel out of the way but is there a way to completely hide it ?

Possible ?

uhmmmmm...

Could you post an annotated picture so I can get on the same page as you?

I'm pretty good with NT charting, but I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at?!

right click on the right edge of indi panel move it up so price panel becomes bottom panel then you can crunch it up to almost not being there.

Sure, just change your input data series type to a line on close, color it transparent. You can then load your indicator into the price panel and all you will see is the indicator itself. Easy/cheesy without being sleezy.

I know this has been answered, but I think there is an easier way. Just open a chart, load your indicator as normal and then right click on the right hand margn of the indicator panel (where it shows the value of the indicator). A box pops up and if you select "Maximize" the whole window is now occupied by the indicator and nothing else.

This is also a good way to be able to be able to calculate an indicator from a separate time-frame or chart type than your primary data series. This way you can view the data series you want to view, and then just set to transparent the data series you want to calculate from, but not view.

The maximize option in this case seems to be the quickest option. It also puts arrows in the bottom right hand corner to switch between a maximized indicator view and price data view.

I agree the maximize is the quickest option but then you are always flipping to see one thing then the other.
I have two charts that each have 4 dataseries with 4 different time frames (from 1 minute to 240 minute) and I just display the indicators that I have an interest in without the dataseries being displayed. I don't use these to trade on but to be the informational sources that i can quickly view and then go to a simplified chart to trade with.

The 1st chart has 1,3,5 15 minute data, the 2nd has 30, 60, 120 & 240 minute data.
