I will try and keep this simple with an example using the ES.

I know from research that 1 point (of movement) is worth 4 bars of time, therefore each bar of time is worth 0.25 of price on the ES.

What I don't know is the formula to work out how many bars of time equal 1 point. I would like to be able to do this in any market but I don't know the formula, can anyone help?

Thanks

PS If you would prefer to message me the answer I will gladly share the rest of the formula and its application to intraday /day trading.
