Well here's a little background to give you an outline of my profile and trading experience. I am semi retired and my brother introduced me to the world of trading futures about a couple of years ago. Initially, I started trading the ES, TF
and NQ for over a year then falling in love trading the CL, which is now the only one I trade on a daily basis. I only trade for a couple of hours in the morning, starts at 6am PST for me....I came to this venue looking for a countdown timer for TOS and decided to join and perhaps share some trading ideas/concepts, etc...in the future...Looking forward to interact with those that trade futures, specifically the CL...Happy Trading Iceman999

Hello, i joined a few months ago, but i have not been able to participate until now. I look forward to sharing ideas on this forum. I am a math buff and a big fan of John Ehlers. I like writing strategies in Tradestation, but I'm still new at it so I mostly just modify strategies that I encounter. I've been a discretionary trader but I am hoping to get into automated algorithmic trading. I'm also interested in using Mathematica as a possible trading platform or perhaps as an adjunct to Tradestation. I just developed a method for fitting log-periodic curves to stock data that allows you to do the fit manually using sliders in Mathematica. This allows you to get Didier Sornette type results which will give you the best estimate for timing a crash. Irecently purchased Market System Analyzer from Adaptrade. i am still just trying to learn the details of that program. I'm currently reading "Building Reliable Trading Systems" by Keith Fitschen.

I hope to explore and trade ideas here at Big Mike's!
