Is there a way to make text_new remain on top, when strategy connecting lines, or other objects are redrawn?

I have already tried to use a background color for text_new, and even a border, but still it always get over drawn by strategy profit/loss lines and other objects.

I am using MultiCharts Easy Language.

Thanks!

ivanyu,

where does the Text come from can you show a picture of the chart you are seeing? I just checked two situations in the first the text was coming from an indicator and it was placed on top of the strategy arrows and text. In the second situation the text was coming from within the signal directly and it was placed on top again.

I am probably not following your problem exactly. Maybe it helps to slightly shift the text up and down. This way it might be away from the other objects.

Regards,
ABCTG

This basically come from the fact that, for historical orders, MultiCharts will not draw order entry/exit price on the chart, but during live trading, it will.

So I am forced to manually draw the entry/exit prices on the chart for historical data, and I found that the Z-order of my manually drawn text seems to be the lowest, and it is always covered up by other system drawn objects.

Unfortunately, entry/exit order labels must be a static string, and that also forces me to manually draw the entry/exit price on the chart, for historical data.

Thanks again for any advice.
