Are there any reliable screen scraping software (paid or free) that could screen scrape numbers, string of characters and paste them into Excel real time?

AutoHotKey is the only thing that comes to mind. I've never heard of "screen scraping" software, but AHK can be scripted to copy/paste values from one app to another.

Thanks Mike. I'm looking for a program similar to web scraping apps; instead of web pages, I would want it to screen scrape my monitor instead. I thought I found something online a couple of months ago but didn't manage to follow through with it.

I was hoping for something off the shelf.

Can AutoHotKey (through scripting) take a display on NT eg the price marker or some indicator value and input the value into an open Excel sheet?

I imagine it could, using the data box for values for example, or maybe other ways too since it can read the NT status line for example.

I seem to think there are DDE interface(s) for Ninja<-> Excel discussed in NexusFi (formerly BMT) - could any of them do what you want instead? (I have no knowledge of them and can only just spell Excel so expect nothing here ...)

Screen Text Scraping, OCR SDK, OCR Library for Programmers

From my understanding, AutoHotKey does the same thing for free. But I've not done this, I am only going based on what other members have posted in other threads.
