Worse, I read something earlier govt wants cars to communicate with each other over wireless IP, so you can imagine some of the hacking that is possible, even without compromising the car you are driving --- if other cars around you send false info, it could lead to erratic behavior of your car due to the results it is receiving (ie: collision avoidance).
