I need some confirmation on whether or not I'm calculating the profit / loss on the YM please. Example... it showed a move from 15510 to 15680 on my YM chart the other day. Now I know that each tick is worth $5 on the YM. So given that example, would that equate to a 170 tick move ? And if so, then that would mean you could have ( in theory ) made $850 ( 170 ticks x $5 per tick ) ? Thanks so much everyone, I really appreciate it - mike

That's correct. The minimum Tick size on the YM is 1.00 index points=$5.00. In contrats to the ES where the minimum Tick size is 0.25 and is worth $12.50.
