ahh yes I forgot about that-meaning for ones that dont know on restart sometimes you have to unhook tritton device then reconnect so it will sync back in...thx for reminding me of this, I used to shut my pc down, now mine run 24/7 so its not a issue now

I seriously thought about that card. 6 mini hdmi adapters are used, does it come with all 6?
I didn't bother to SLI or Crossfire two cards, but I did look for cards that had at least 4 native HDMI ports, until I asked their tech support department, whether what I intended to use the card for, would fit within their purposeful specs. They suggested other cards, and not being dependent on 4 monitors being able to stretch across all. I was disappointed to say the least, after putting so much effort into that logical choice of one card, 4 monitors.
Not HDMI, DisplayPort. Yes, mini displayport. No adapters. Never use adapters. Just buy the right cable, mini-displayport to displayport in my case, x6.

ok, that's what the problem was, display port. my monitors had hdmi and dvi-d, and I would've needed adapter/converters, and you're right, never adapt or convert, always pass through connectors. I think that was the other problem the techs at the company pointed out too.
oh well!
2540x1440 on a 23" Acer B233 platform was worth protecting, and what a monitor these are!
