Is there anyway I can change ALL of the colors the chats. For example. Each day is displayed as a dotted red line. Can I change that at all?

May you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? The dotted red line comment is confusing me.

At this time, you cannot change the dashed vertical lines.
However, horizontal, study based lines can be completely altered.
