Hi,

There has bin talked allot about the perfect setup for a trading computer but what about the big firms with big trading floors like Goldman Sachs? How about there setup? What are they using as setup for a trading computer?

The Goldaman Sachs youtube channel has a few videos that show there trading setups in the background. Looks like there using Dell monitors with probably workstation desktop pc's.

they use nothing exceptional, just dual screen off-the-mill dell workstations.
It may also be a VDI solution, where basically your OS runs virtualized on some remote cluster and only the screen contents get sent across to a (dumb) terminal.
