Hello
I'm looking to colorize the space from the CCI line to the zero-line.

I've attached an image in which in Region-2 I have a 50-CCI of the price-action in Region 1 and peeking out behind those bars is the 50-CCI from a separate chart of a longer 'time-frame' and in lighter shades of blue and red. Because that 'time-frame' is longer, there aren't as many bars. Rather than have those bars in the back-ground I'd prefer seeing the entire space filled with color similar to the transparent top and bottom fill in the BB-MACD shown in Region 3.

Is this possible?

Thanks
JD

Have you tried setting the line style to 'Fill to zero'? You can also set the autocoloring to 'Based on +/-'.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I have tried Fill to Zero with the Autocoloring set for above or below the Zero Line. It works on the chart to which I apply it but does not transfer well to a chart of a lesser Range Value.

I understand that a larger Range Value chart will have gaps when applied to a chart of a lesser Range Value and so I would like to be able to simply have the higher Range Value CCI as a line be the upper (or lower) limit so that if the CCI line is the upper, then ALL the space between the line and the Zero Line is filled in.

Instead I get the following as shown in the attachments. The 4th image is the higher Range Value chart that I want to apply to the lower Range Value chart. Image #2 shows what it looks like when I use the Study Price Overlay option. Image 1 shows what I do in the Subgraph window and Image #3 shows the sole Study being used on the higher Range Value chart.

Image 2 (lower Range Value) has black in the spaces between blue and pink coloring. I want all the space between the CCI line and the Zero Line filled with a single solid color.

I'm hoping that there's more that I can do.

Kind regards
JD

You need to change 'Fill Blanks with Last value' to Yes on your study/price overlay settings.

Raleigh, NC is not close to Silicon Valley but if you're ever in the area, please let me know and drinks or a hearty soup is on me.

Thanks
