I am looking for ways to identify the moment when a new bar starts with ACSIL. My solution so far is to identify the moment when the beginning time of the bar changes which means that a new bar started.

Does anyone know of other/better ways to identify a new bar start with ACSIL ?

Yonatan - Please see this thread about this.

Post - Support Board - Sierra Chart

Code
int& lastIndex=sc.PersistVars->i1;
if ( lastIndex == 0 )
{
   lastIndex=-1;
   // Any other One-Time Initiation Commands
}

int i=sc.Index;

if (i == lastIndex) return; // Everything gets processed on very first tick of the bar ONLY and then the control would return back

lastIndex = i;

// Draw Line logic;
