Hello,

Does anyone know how can I make certain hrs of the day a different color from the other. EI Cash hours different to Globex hrs.

TradeStation doesnt seem to have setting for it. Maybe there is an indicator ?

Thanks

Hector

You may want to use a paintbar:

Code
inputs: opentime(1535), closetime(2200);

If Time < opentime or Time > closetime then
    PlotPB(High, Low, Open, Close, "OutOfSession", darkgray);

Like Albnd mentioned, paintbars will do the trick. Either color the price bars or the chart background.

For the latter you can slightly modify the posted code to:

Code
inputs: opentime(1535), closetime(2200), BgrdColor(yellow);

Variables:
HighVal(0),
LowVal(0);
once
begin
HighVal = Close * 3;
LowVal = Close * .33;
end;

If Time < opentime or Time > closetime then
begin
    Plot1(HighVal, "OutOfSession", BgrdColor);
    Plot2(LowVal, "OutOfSession", BgrdColor);
end;
Make sure to format Plot1 as Bar High and Plot as Bar Low in TS.

Regards,
ABCTG
