Hi,

I want to display the actual balance in a chart with indikator or signal.

The code is something like:

TextIDsample = Text_New(Date,Time,0,"text");

But I want instead of the "text" a variable (my accountbalance).
If I write "initialcapital" than I see the word initialcapital in the chart.
If I write initialcapital without "" than I can't compile the code.

What to do?

off the top of my head, try
DrawTextFixed("text tag", " my balance = "+mybalance, TextPosition.BottomRight);

or
DrawTextFixed("text tag", "my balance = "+mybalance.ToString(),TextPosition.BottomRight);

But I think this is a code for Ninjatrader...itworks not on Tradestation/MultiCharts..

Have you tried to find some TradeStation code by "TRO", "The Rumpled One", or had a look on Kreslik?

I think he has alot of samples and open TS code posted there.

I think your looking for this:

vars:   myvar(0); myvar = some formula; Text_New(date, time, price, text(myvar));

You can also do something like:

Text_New(date, time, price, text("My var = " + myvar:0:0 + "."));

:0:0 is formatting (padding) of zeros before/after decimal.
