First I want to apologize for my bad english. I'm from Sweden so my writing isn't the best, but I hope that you guys will understand me. I'm trading soft commodities from the ICE US Future. My problem is that no broker/platform over here offers a market depth or DOM.
I really would like to be able to see the opening call before the markets open. Could you guys recommend where I can find what I'm looking for? I would be very thankful. I'm really just after the market depth and nothing else so it doesn't have to be anything advanced. Simple is good and it doesn't have to be free, but it must not cost a fortune.
Thanks a lot!

Go to ampfutures.com and go to "online platforms" and look for xtrader. Once you click on it, there should be a demo request on the right side of the page. Fill out the info and download. Xtrader is one of the best futures platforms out there.
NinjaTrader offers a DOM for ICE futures, and you could get that via feeds like Rithmic or Continuum.
But, DOMs don't provide an "opening call" and become active along with the market open.
I am really surprised that brokers don't provide a DOM in Sweden, as this is pretty standard.
Hope this helps.
Matt

You most welcome. If I find "early calls", I will PM you.

Coffee, Cocoa and Sugar open for trading at 4:15A, 4:45A, and 3:30A US Eastern time. If opening calls still exist, I imagine they're generated and disseminated in Europe, because most US traders and media people are still in bed.
Opening calls used to be common in the commodities markets, but at least in the 10 or so markets I follow, they seem to have disappeared with the advent of overnight, and in some cases, nearly 24-hour trading.
I'm afraid that you're right. But I can't get it. Why can't you see the order book before the soft markets open? With stocks it's no problem to see the opening calls, at least not here in Sweden. But with commodities it seems impossible.
