This article is an example of poor journalism again. It has always been very, very public that Tradeworx owns Thesys Technologies. It's been on the very front page of their website for as long as it existed. They make it sound as though Tradeworx was hiding something malicious.
It's also extremely disrespectful of this writer to publish the exact coordinates of the microwave tower, as though to invite people to vandalize it. If this writer can live up to his own moral standards, he should not be publishing anonymously and should publish the exact coordinates of his own apartment/house.
The guys who are really trying to sweep things under the rug are IB (doesn't mention Timber Hill as much as possible) and FXCM (doesn't mention Lucid/V3 as much as possible). Zero Hedge should be going after these guys. There's good reason why Peterffy is the only billionaire among the electronic trading giants.
