Hi All
I'm new to Futures trading. Have opened a small account with Infinity brokers and use their Sierra Charts. Currently I'm trading YM Gold and 30 Yr Bond. Tried the e-mini and way too fast for me. I am looking here to share and learn what indicators go best with each of my markets for setups , entry etc. Have been experimenting with Tick Charts vs time charts. Will take any tips on pro/con of this.
Looking forward to hearing and posting along with all.
thanks

Hi everybody

I trade currently the Dax 30 successfully for several years using technical analysis .
The method from tradeempowered works quit well for the Dax.About 6 month ago I tried the Forex Market with
not much success, I do not think the method or the indicators are to blame. Forex seems to be different, i.e. slower and
for me not so predictabel.
At first a blew my small Forex Account. Iam using now dynamic support and resistance, RSI, Balance Beam, which shows
high price activity in the past that can be applied to future price movements.
This method seems to work for me to stabelize and grow my Forex account moderately.
I hope this forum will help me to advance my trading methods further for me and everybody else.
My current Platform is Ninja Trader and the MT4 Platform.

Peter

peterheide,

Welcome. How long did you trade e-mini's before you decided that it wasn't for you? What do you mean by it's too fast?

Thanks,
-gammaglory

How long did you trade ES for? Did you use huge size? What time of day did you trade?

I think the eminis ES. NQ. TF are great trading. Depending on what you are looking to do

Hi and Welcome,

This is a great community for someone starting out, I'd recommend reading up as much as you can on topics that relate to your areas and outside them. All the best with your trading!

Sands.
