Hi All,

I was wondering if it was possible to read out somehow the interval setting the chart in NT (eg, 1, min, 5 min etc).

I want to have a strategy that should not trade the first n bars after session start.

Depending on the chart setting, if the setting is 1 minute, do not trade first 30 bars.

If the chart setting is 5 min, do not trade first 6 bars in case the first half hour is a no 'trading zone'.

Hope you can help out.

Thanks,
leduc

in NT7 BarsPeriod.Value or BarsPeriods[0].Value returns the periodicity value

NT6.5 its Bars.Period.Value

btw its better to use

Code

if (ToTime(Time[0]) >= 100000//trade when time is above 10:00 AM
{
//do your stuff
