I have changed my mind about Falcon. They sent me a replacement computer that is better than the one I bought. My warranty expired but the problems existed before the expiration. So they have worked with me past the warranty, paid all shipping, send new hard drives and memory chips, and finally, a better computer as a replacement. The never charged anything extra. You can't get that kind of support out of Dell or HP. I am now a loayl Falcon customer. EZ computers is a good choice also.

I'm actually now looking at getting one of the Origen 17 inch laptops...anyone else have any experience with Origen? Everything I read about them online is just A+!
I think its better to custom build your computer rather than buying a pre configured system from the shop. Firstly you can choose the components that are only necessary for you, and you can also save some money just for the brand names like Dell, HP, IBM etc etc.
The only thing I don't mind buying pre-configured is a laptop which I use on the go.

It paid for me to let my local independent computer store build a trading computer for me . It wasnt much more money compared to ordering it online or going to best buy . It paid because the guy that built it understood exactly what my needs are and if I have a problem or question I can call him directly and take care of it immediately without confusion or a run around . Ninja updates often and uses more than 1 core so a computer thats suitable now may not be in the near future therefore it pays to get personalized service from a computer tech .

I never understood why traders thought they needed to buy "trading computers" from trading computer company's. Traders should always be looking for value, so the last thing they want to do is pay twice the price for a "trading computer".
$1000 gets you a pretty decent build these days( even by gaming standards), and most new( decent) graphics cards support 4 monitors. Even an average gaming computer could easily run anyone's home setup....
Yeah for sure, buying off a vendor is a great idea if you have no clue about computers, however I still can't see the need to go buying off some "trading computer" specialist. Just buy from a local vendor, or off Ebay.
