I got in a little late. Average price of 128.31, and I only bought after the recent correction. Decent gain from that point on.

Thanks for the heads-up about earnings. Will start monitoring it more closely.

I just briefly glanced over this company and it feels like it's setting itself up for a bit of a fall. They've been steadily losing EPS for the past 3 quarters but their SP is going up. What's the deal here?

Not quite sure where you are getting your data from, but these are the EPS numbers that I have from newest quarter to oldest: 0.19, 0.15, 0.11, 0.02. Other than the April 30, 2014 EPS, EPS has been increasing vs the same quarter prior year.

Hm...I've been using nasdaq.com to check the previous EPS numbers. It's been fairly clear and I don't have to dig the info through opinions to find the answer.

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (PANW) Earnings Report Date - NASDAQ.com

This bugged me, so I had a quick look at the Palo Alto website and found the following: Palo Alto Networks Inc - News Release

Your NASDAQ link reports the GAAP earnings while Marketsmith records the non-GAAP earnings. The reconciliation table highlights where the differences comes from.

Good to know there is a difference. I just use Marketsmith and never bothered to check any other source.

I used both the news from Yahoo and the page I linked from Nasdaq. I was seeing a lot of confusing articles too with some of them saying there was a loss and others saying there was a gain. So I stuck to the easier to understand GAAP adjusted values.
