try catch in easy language

avivi Jerusalem, Israel Posts: 4 since Oct 2014 Thanks Given: 0 Thanks Received: 0	I'm new in easy language.. (Comes from C#) I used the function "FileDelete" How do I know if the file is actually deleted, or catch the error? Sorry for my English...... Thanks for any help

ABCTG Posts: 2,448 since Apr 2013 Thanks Given: 494 Thanks Received: 1,642	avivi, as far as I know there is no direct way to know if the file deletion was successful. You can use a function from ELC to check if the file exists and then delete or not delete it (ELC.PathExists). Regards, ABCTG

It works fine for me, besides that I haven't seen the installer somewhere else as it's an official product from Tradestation.
