I subscribed this forum sometime ago. I was a little skeptical at first, usually trading forums are made of frustrated people looking for someone else to address their frustrations. This is defenitely not the case, it's actually all the opposite and it's made of people with passion for their job trying to improve and help each other. There is a lot of equity here, and I'm not talking or just talking about p/L.

I was now thinking that I never introduced myself, I'm very reserved so I don't like to speak about myself too much but at the same time I have been educated to good manners and I know that an introduction is due before entering someone else house so I'm a bit in late for it and I apologize.

As regards my background, after a very positive business venture in a different field,I founded 6 years ago a proprietary trading company focused on emerging cash markets.
I've been lucky to work with some very good and professional traders from whom I learnt a lot. What we did is basically market making and scalping low value but with high daily volume stocks.
We traded Polish, Australian, Singapore, Turkish, Japan, Brasil, TelAviv and some others.

Some weeks ago I took the decision to close the company, even if our trading profits are still decent, it's everyday more difficult to apply our strategy to the markets so I feel like I just anticipated what in the long run would have been the natural end.

A couple of years ago we started developing also some automated trading strategies working on futures, continue working on it and moving to trade future markets is defenitely a plan.

Since I subscribed, I feel like I have just taken from this community. I hope I can give back something in the future.
