Hi I am paying way too much for trading. How much do you pay in commission per trade?

What are you trading? Commissions are different across products.

$4.80 round turn on ES,NQ,YM. ATCbrokers. You can get cheaper though@ NINJA, STAGE 5, Optimus,.......rates are neogatiable depending on how many cars you drive and the Broker. NINJA offers lower commisions if you have a lifetime liscense. You need to do some googling and haggling, especially if you are just trading futures.

... less than $5 per round turn with Ninja Trader Brokerage for commissions and exchange fees. I just received a message saying I need to start paying CME data fees, $15 per month for all products or $5 for each group.
I lost (use of my ) money in the MFGlobal bankruptcy. A Friend lost a lot in the PFGBest heist. So you need to be careful when selecting only low commissions.
I switched to OptionsXpress after Schwab purchased them. I was paying about $10+ per round turn. I felt they were safe.

Hi OK, I agree with you safety is very important in the businesses. I just starter trading using the CME Direct platform and I think it is both safe and economic. They charge nothing for data until 2016 and you pay per trade whatever you negotiate with your clearing house or broker.
