I want the trading signal
a little later evaluated in the backtest.

Because of the generation of the signal to the real trading some time passes in a 1 minute chart.

I have tried the following programming, but it does not work.

BuySignal = Cross (Close, MA (Close, 100));
Buy = Ref (BuySignal, -1);

Maybe someone knows how it works.

Balut.

Using the two code lines would enter one bar later so what does not work exactly?
Have you defined an exit rule also?

Yes the same for exit
this is just an example of a part of one formula.
Ami Broker does not recognize the word Buysignal.
And displays an error message.

When I insert your two lines of your first post into the editor and click "Verify syntax" or "code check & profile" then there is no error message. So your are talking about a different code then that has a syntax error or whatever other code mistake. If you just say "error message"... there are several types. No one can look over your shoulders right at your screen. In your first post you say it does not work. In the next one you say there is an error message. Every new post has a new detail. So why not telling everything right at the start? Perhaps you should do a screen shot or name the actual error message.

Thanks for the reply
I have now realized what was wrong.
I just need for the formula
Buy = Ref (BuySignal, -1);
leave out the comma
then works.
