I watched a video of an IPAD trading software. Below is a screenshot of presenter showing some indicator.

Presenter diggs the platform and there is an indicator named Chebyshev Trend.

I googled it but could not find any info. If you have encountered this somewhere and share information about how this is computed I will be grateful. It does not matter which platform.

It is probably a polynomial regression channel that uses a Chebychev polynom. For basic information see here:

Chebyshev polynomials - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A polynomial regression channel is typically retrofitted to the last N bars.





You can find a polynomial regression channel indicator for NinjaTrader here:

I believe that the Chebychev trend uses a similar formula.

Thanks for the reply. Are buy sell points in the link I have given also part of chebyshev polynomials or some other indicator? It seems like trailing stop to me.

Looks like crossovers from a moving average / parabolic stop.
