Here's a speedtest check from Manila to Chicago. As you see internet speed and latency really sucks for a $40/month line. This is a shared line and our "awesome" telcos have "Fair Use Policy" which we are capped at about 5-10GB per day. Some are worse at 5-10GB per month.
Also, our "awesome" telcos are marketing unlimited internet connection even with hidden cap limits. They really think their subscribers are primates. Duh.
Getting a dedicated line would cost me about ~$500 a month. That won't fit my current budget.
I have the Double Play Package from Comcast. My readings 60.11 Mbps Download and 12.16 Mbps Upload Speed. I did see the Triple Play Package with speeds of 110 Mbps. I guess the faster the better. I'm paying $125 per month. I think
I'll upgrade to the Triple Play. What do think. Should I do it?
