I am looking to create an indicator by combining 2 current existing indicators into one.

MACD - Exponential Moving Average (MACD, bars used for average)

How difficult is this to do in Sierra?

Thanks

I do not understand what do you want to do with this 2 indicators.
Can you clarify?

Instead of displaying just the MACD, I would like for it to display [MACD - Exp Moving Average (MACD, days)]

The EMA is of the MACD

Thanks

If I understand correctly you want to add to the MACD a moving average of the MACD.
If this is the case then add the Moving Average - Exponential study to your chart.
In the setting of the exponential MA choose the MACD study under "Based ON" and under "Chart Region" choose the same region of the MACD.

You can use the Sum study.
Use -1 as the multiplier of the EMA study.

I'm still confused about what you want to plot

in the setting of MACD you can choose the moving average you want then you want to subtract to the MACD an EMA of MACD?

If it's like I wrote in the previous post, you have to add MACD then the Study Subgraph Difference and in the setting doing like in the pictures

And this is the results

Thanks for the response but I am not visually seeing the same as my other software. I need to subtract the EMA(MACD) not the MA(MACD)

MACD-EMA(MACD)
