Want to autotrade on quarterly earnings announcement, so I need the earnings information in the first second after publishing. Where are quarterly earnings published first? Is there a news service delivery it instantly? A script to scrape the company websites? Any experiences? Thanks a lot

There are machine readable news data feeds out there, google should give you some answers. Not sure exactly how you want to trade earnings releases, but if you are trying to trade direction based on the number then you are stepping into a highly competitive trade. You better have some serious infrastructure in place.

Most solutions in the financial industry rely on one of the two following services:

1. ThomsonReuters
Products & Services

2. Bloomberg
Best Practices | Connectivity & Integration | Bloomberg Trading Solutions

Both are fast, reliable, automated, and configurable.
Like most professional solutions no bargain, but you know your competition when you are a news trader ...

I have used both bloomberg and reuters. I think reuters is better in the machine readable catagory.
