I'm new to the whole spreadsheet aspect of charting. Have been reading the Sierra Chart manual without much success to determine how to fill cells from the chart to the spreadsheet.
Is it possible to get the points of a drawing to appear in cells on a spreadsheet?
e.g. swing highs and swing lows drawn with the zig zag tool?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I am quite certain that exact exercise was covered in a Sierra Chart webinar on NexusFi (formerly BMT) but I can't recall which one specifically, you can check them in the NexusFi (formerly BMT) webinar section.
Great, thanks. I did scan through one of the hour-long videos but it didn't touch on what I was looking for. I will keep doing so as time permits. If anyone is able to point me to a specific video I'd appreciate it.
Outputs from studies appear in columns AA and above, and formulas in columns K-Z can plot to the chart. Drawings are not included in spreadsheet functionality.
I found the webinar with the info. Using the zigzag study on the spreadsheet is what is discussed, rather than the zigzag tool, which is the functionality that I am interested in.
