ya i watched that earlier. nots ure about using curved screens though and that desk config def wouldnt work on the sit/stand desk tops ive found so far.
dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see
The curve is pretty subtle. The angles he has the outside monitors at is too radical for me (based on the video, I think). So if I do end up with three, mine would be pushed back slightly further. I hope I don't need to do DPI scaling to 125%.
Will try with two first. Two 40's 3840x2160 (7680x2160 = 16.58M pixels) are more than I have today with (3) 2560x1600 30's (7680x1600 = 12.28M pixels). So two may be enough screen real estate, the question is if I can handle it being "weird" with the border dead center.
i totally agree with that, the line in the middle would drive me nuts. those monitors in that video are curved? im not really sure how one would figure out how 3 curved screens of that size on one of the desktops im looking at would work.

The ones in the video are flat I am 90% sure, I would need to re-watch the video or check the specs to confirm though. The ones I am using (Samsung JU6700) are curved.

Interesting Video, Thanks.
I have 4 Dell 30"'s and a Dell 29". My primary monitor's are the two center 30"s and the 29". The outside monitors (on different PCs) are angled like he does in this video ~ one at about 45 degrees and one about 90 degrees. I must say I can't really see what's on those (outside) monitor's unless I turn my head to look at them, they are two far out of my peripheral vision. Maybe that's because I have them angled so much but with 2x 30's in the center they need to be angled or they'd be so far away they'd be almost useless.
The combined bevel's on mine are just over 2" and to be honest I've never really noticed it. But then I almost always have different things on each screen so maybe that's why.

My office is 15'x10' and I have a built in 30"deep U shaped desk. The inner edge of the desk is a total of 23.5'. The section of the desk you can see in the photo is 9.5' across. You can't see it but I have more computers to the right of me (back up system) and to the left of me (sim setup - I never trade and test on the same box) but those are just single 30" monitor's and not multi-monitor like the main setup.
