Anyone know of an indicator for NT that would show me the distance of the extremes of the current swing from the current price, in ticks?
I want to have a way to easily see in real-time when a move has travelled x ticks from a swing.
or the price-distance between the extremes of the current swing and the current mouse-pointer.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yes, that is a nice tool. Unfortunately it snaps the zero position to a round number position based on the interval settings. Still, I've found it useful for showing an estimate especially before a trade ( and then just leave it visible during the trade ). But for exact measures, I found that if I use the PriceActionSwingPro indicator, it does the measuring in real time. However, it is measuring the entire swing rather than from the entry trigger point. Good for Limit orders, but less so for Stop orders. I want to measure from a trigger position ( not necessarily where I actually entered as I may have been a bit late or early ).
In NT7, when we grab (single-click) a pending order on the chart, it shows the distance in ticks/pips relative to the current price, in real time. That is what I'm looking for ( but not as a real pending Order ).
