We have not introduced a pausing concept. With respect to not properly stopping...NT8 should not have an issue, if there is then it's a bug and would get fixed.
I'll try to write one for NT8. I started to write something for NT7 and did not finished it but I've already coded some parts which could be reused.
I also think there is a lack of demand, professionals trading spreads have very low commissions compared to retail traders which makes spread trading much more profitable.
Consider me a buyer. Though, I would really like to get the source code or at least a UML diagram.
I suspect there is some kind programming hurdle in NT7. Otherwise, an ecosystem partner would have developed it. NT8 will have a more accessible codebase, hopefully.
I would simply like the ability to scroll through a chart using the mouse wheel 1 bar at a time. Currently chart will scroll 3 bars at a time, and this can't be adjusted via mouse properties.
Scrolling through charts gives me a better sense of flow and perspective of what price is doing, and prevents me from being too focused on just the most recent price action I've just watched on screen, hence the requirement.
I would like to see the crosshairs become a "ruler" by depressing and holding the middle mouse wheel.
Then dragging between two points would give you stats like number of ticks[ + or - ],bars and time.
