I've been searching and asking but it seems to not exist. I wrote IBD directly and they answered you can save it from the site each week, but they don't have it - this means a 3-5 year subscription AND 3-5 years before I even have enough data to backtest.

Does anyone know where to find the weekly list? just to be clear I do not want the current list which would be illegal I suppose. For that matter I don't even want to last 6 months. I only want old data (but as much as possible of course and in order - no gaps) to run tests.

Thanks guys.

I don't know where to get it but I'd be interested in such a data set too if anybody has it. I am an IBD subscriber but I don't see anywhere to get historical lists.

I contacted IBD several times to acquire historical list - they sent me a linked page that mentions they specifically do not keep an archive. Makes me sad.

So now I'm searching the internet to try and find a human who has downloaded the list consistently since 2013. I want to do a major case study on the IBD50 list. Please let me know if you guys find anything or anyone willing to share.

I will gladly share my case study.

since they specify their criteria to create the list you may want to recreate the list yourself.
